Support Staff

Donna Kinney, R.N.

Donna feels like she’s been a nurse forever, but many nurses have worked much longer than she has.  Donna began nursing school when she woke up one day and her two 15 year olds and her 17 year old looked at her and said, “Who’s paying for college?”  She became a nurse as quick as she could and her paychecks put their kids through college.  She worked at Maine Medical Center, a home health agency, and Windham Correctional Center before coming to Periodontal Associates in 2000.

Donna and her husband Brian, a patient of Dr. Morse’s since 1989, also support various overseas missionary groups and individuals through their church.  In 2001, they took a 10-day mission trip to Krasnoyarsk, Russia.  Donna went as a dental/RN to teach hygiene and distribute toothpaste, floss, brushes, etc. to orphans in the Siberian area of Russia.  “The doctors and hygienists at Periodontal associates were a great help in providing resources for the trip and the medical and dental communities in Southern Maine were quite generous.”

With the dental knowledge acquired at Periodontal Associates and her nursing background, Donna loves to teach the patients the importance of good dental hygiene and how periodontal disease can affect their whole body.

Lynne Mooney, R.D.H., A.A.S.

Although a dental hygienist by training, Lynne is a dedicated surgical assistant to Dr. Morse.  She graduated from Westbrook College in 1983 and worked in several office settings before joining Periodontal Associates in 1996.

Lynne lives in Portland with her husband and daughter and enjoys running, kayaking and yoga.

Diane E. Lailer-Bubar, Lab Tech

Diane joined Periodontal Associates in September of 2007.  In her position, Diane works in the sterilization area processing instruments to precise guidelines ensuring the sterility of all dental and surgical instruments and maintaining high safety standards.  “I enjoy my position as a lab tech and appreciate the team work here.”

Diane headed a fundraiser for Victory Junction Gang - a camp for terminally ill children founded by the NASCAR Petty Racing Team - and participates in the Alzheimer’s Memory Walk each fall.  She resides in Limington with her husband, Dan, and is the proud mother of two married daughters and two grandsons.

In her spare time, she enjoys being outside, spending time at her camp, boating, four-wheeling, snowmobiling and driving her Harley.
